4 day migraine :(

Aug 23, 2015 9:38 AM

So we went on holiday last week, I knew there was going to be a fair amount of walking, and was stressed about it before we went. The stress caused a migraine just before we left, which lasted just over 4 days. Now we're back from holiday, my body is really tired and I'm trying to rest between sorting out the piles of washing and ironing. Oh and my body seems to think it can get by on 2 hours sleep too. Sorry for the moan, I just know you all understand. Sending love and gentle hugs to all of you. Xxx ♥

Your very much allowed to moan!! It is a necessity for us to survive all of these things we suffer with everday and even though I've only been here a short time it really helps me. Not many ppl in my life can truly understand what we deal with.

Migraines are the worst especially when they go on for days at a time. Hope you can get some rest and feel better soon!

Sarahjane, from someone who also suffers with migraines, I can sure sympathize with you having to bear that kind of pain for 4 days in a row. It's hard enough to get through one!! I hope your holiday was fun and that you at least got to enjoy yourself and that you're glad you went. I am sending you hugs to feel better. Stay in a quiet, dark room and make sure to hydrate. Keep your eyes closed and rest and I pray that your migraine goes away and doesn't last another day. 🌻🙏🏻

Omg, Sarahjane, I feel awful for you! I've only had 48 your meds migraines. Try and rest in between your chores, and relax your shoulders and neck muscles. (((Hugs) & prayers you'll get everything done and without triggering another migraine. 🙏🌼

Thanks all. We still had a lovely holiday, I dosed up on pain meds just before going out each day and made sure I rested. My partner was fab with the children so I didn't have to be chasing them around or picking them up.

Whenever i had migraines I would put a cool washcloth across my eyes when i layed down in a dark quiet room. That seemed to help a bit.

I have a geek eye mask I keep in the refrigerator. It's great with any headache. 🙏🌼
