3 possible reasons why I'm emotional

Aug 01, 2017 5:35 PM

I have been very emotional and of course there is 3 possible reasons for it .

(1) recovering from surgery.
(2) bipolar meds not working anymore
(3) Add

Maybe a mix I don't know so Next Monday I have a follow up from my surgery. πŸ€”
My insurance wants me to get tested for Add πŸ€”
Oh I can't forget my insurance also sending a referral for me to see someone about my bipolar meds πŸ€”

Idk. Anyways Hope all is well ((Gentle hugs sending preyers your way))πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸ€—

Remember what we talked about! What your feeling can be completely normal after a major surgery and if your meds are not working anymore then you are going to be extra emotional! Your doing all the right things by going to your doctors appointments. Remember to message me if you need me πŸ’•

Yes I remember πŸ€—πŸ€— It's just crazy that my insurance is not taking into consideration about my surgery. But a family friend came over today and thinks I shouldn't still be in pain πŸ€”

Aug 01, 2017 6:16 PM

Yes they should be taking that into account πŸ€” Some people take longer than others and it did say on your letter it can take 6-8 weeks so your body just might take a little bit longerπŸ€”

That's what I keep telling everyone around here that my paper says 6 to 8 weeks . πŸ€—πŸ€—

Yes you need to remember that 😊😊

Plus it seems that people with fibro heal slower. Has anyone else felt that way? I had back surgery a year ago and that nerve is still spasming and causing me pain. Even a bruise or a cut seem to take forever to heal.

@ Frustrated. I see what you're saying . The bruise on my stomach from my surgery just went away after 5 weeks . Very long time . πŸ€—πŸ€—

Yup. It just seems to take us longer to heal. πŸ‘

As far as emotions. Did they put you on any hormone replacement therapy? I had a complete hysterectomy years ago and they put me on an estrogen patch. FINALLY my emotions are stable.

Agree and it sux big time . I read on line that some people can still hurt after a year after surgery πŸ€”πŸ€”

Aug 02, 2017 9:18 AM

It does suck. The doc told me it could take a year or two before that nerve calms down. And that's for a regular person so I figure a person with fibro will probably take longer. I hope not.

Ouchhhhh. I hope not as well. I go back to my doctor on Monday so I hope she can give me some kind of good news . I still have my ovaries. So this whole emotional thing seems weird

My prayers go out for you, wish you the best in Jesus name AMEN!!!

I hope you're doing well. I know a lot of people who have had the same surgery and struggled with their emotions for a while. I struggle with my emotions even when I'm "normal". How did your follow up go?
