Darn, when I saw the title was for gamers I thought "something I know something about" then I read the rest. You lost me on this one because I refuse to upgrade past the PS2. I miss the old game systems, SNES, Atari, PS1. I simply don't like the new games. I guess I'm gonna have to go out to storage and get one of the old systems out. LOL
MichaelR, I think that if you have painful hands, fingers, wrists, arms, etc... It won't matter which gaming system you go with, they ALL deal with repetative motion in pushing those buttons, etc... I don't think any one of them would be better or worse than the next. I think you need to go by the games and which ones you like best and which system has the most of the titles you enjoy playing. I hope that whichever you go with that you enjoy and it helps you to feel better. Good luck.
What games do you play? Some of our faves: Skyrim, Mass Effect, Fallout 3, Dragon Age (all), Borderlands (all), Tokyo Jungle, Magic the Gathering, Kingdoms of Amalur, Eve, TOR, Everquest II, Silent Hill (all), Dungeon Seige, How2Survive, The Last Of Us, Shadow of Colossus, Civilization Revolution, any and all zombie games lol. There are so many I can't even remember right now lol. We had our old PS3, 4 controllers, and ALL our games stolen when we moved two years ago and we are slowly rebuilding out collection. ($2700 worth of stuff) The one thing I wish I had was a GameCube and a copy of Eternal Darkness.
The PS4 will catch up and no doubt surpass the Xbox in due time in terms of games. The PS4 has better graphics. It was the same when the PS3 came out. At first, it was a game desert. Now look at it tho. Between PSN games and boxed games I'm still finding new ones (or old titles recently digitized).
