Turtle, that sounds kind of scary. Does it happen when you're doing
Something that exerts energy or at rest? I would go to the doctor and perhaps a chest X-ray would be in order to see if there is anything there. I wish you good luck and hope that you come back and tell us how you made out. πŸŒ»πŸ™πŸ»

It happens anytime, and make me feel hurt in my lungs. I have go to the doctor but he said i'm just tired and maybe stress. The doctor seems like doesn't understands what i'm trying to tell him just because i'm 17😒😒

So sorry your docs are ignoring you because of your age. I'm 15, so I hear a lot of docs telling me the the pain isn't real. I'd definitely bug them to test you for causes, jest because chest pain is awful. Dosing, could you be extremely dehydrated? I once went to the ER for chest pain and had massive dehydration.

Turtle, I am so sorry that your doc is being so dismissive. If it keeps up I would have your Mom take you to an urgent care or the ER. You may very well be stressed and tired but not knowing will
Stress you more. I would find a new doctor. I wish you well. It breaks my heart when I hear that someone so young is suffering. Hang in there and I'm sending you {{{{Hugs}}}} for support. πŸŒ»πŸ™πŸ»

Turtle, I have asthma, but it took the docs awhile to figure it out because it's mostly triggered by other allergies, so the docs never see it at its worst. I don't have "bad" asthma, like I only wheeze, and cough, and my neck gets all itchy, and it's hard to breathe, but I know some people have worse asthma, my mom for example.
I'm not saying it is asthma, but definitely find a different doc (if you can, it might be hard depending on insurance, and which office you go to, idk) or go to Urgent care.

Turtle, sometimes I get a stabbing pain that feels like it's my lung because it takes my breath. But my doc said it's actually coming from my intestines, as a symptom of my IBS. It may not be what's causing yours, but could it be a possibility? Even though you're 17, you know your body best, so be an advocate for yourself, be assertive. Research and go to your doc with suggestions. Tell him you aren't comfortable with his diagnosed ideas and would like to be referred out for a second opinion, or better yet to see a pulmonologist. Good luck, (((hugs))) and a prayer for you! πŸ™πŸŒΌ

I also get a shape pain in my lung and it feels like I can't breath deep. Like a belt is tight around my chest. I had two ECG done because of my pain was so bad I thought I was having a heart attack! Nothing helps but it was all from my fibro pain. I have a specialist appointment on Mon & it is my first question I am planning to ask. I will let you know what he suggests. Keep pushing to get the answers you need. Don't take " you are too young" as an answer. You don't want to suffer for years, believe there is help for you.

Ask them if it can be caused by Costochondritis, which I have. Blessings to you! πŸ™πŸŒΌ
