Mazie, the link didn't work, but I googled AIS. I'll have to read it later but it looks interesting.

Thanks for the info Marzie.... the link didn't work for me either but I also Googled it like Flappsy and will go ahead and check it out. It sure does look interesting. I have to say, I wish I didn't need to take pain medication but after 22 years, 29 surgeries, physical therapy, biofeedback, psychotherapy, TENS Units (Both normal ones you purchase in a store and Implanted Neurostimulators which I had revised 5 times). No matter what I do, wean off the meds, try exercising, etc.. My pain level just continues to climb. I am on Morphine among other things and I have to say that it only takes enough of the edge off so I can function. My pain levels normally linger around an 8/10 and that is ON my medications. Believe me, if there was a way to limit my pain without having to take all of these medications, I would go for it with no problem. I think my pain management office is looking into becomming part of the medical marijuana program. The good thing would be, I could come off of the pills (if it works, that is), and then I would only need something small for breakthrough pain because there is only so much marijuana you can use. Thanks again for the information, I'm going to read it thoroughly.
