Advance needed

Hello all. Pray your today is better than yesterday.

In the past 3 months I have had 2 medial nerve branch block done (4 sessions). I didn't get any relief from the procedure. The 1st and 3rd session (done on right side) cause me more pain than I already was in. At my last visit (Thursday ) my pain management doctor says that there is nothing else he could do for me since the MNBB didn't help. He discharged me and said to go back to my primary.
I got a copy of his last report and this is his assessment:
1. Thoracic lumbar spondylosis
2. Lumbar facet arthropathy
3. Degenerative disc disease lumbar area
4. Thoracic pain of facet arthropathy
5. Lupus

Only difference from his initial assessment is:
1. Hip pain with osteoarthritis
(still have hip pain)
2. Sacroiliitis
And he suggested I ask primary to refer me to a neurologist.

Getting my primary to refer me is a battle by itself. Not sure what to do next.

Any advice, comments is welcomed
Thank you

Ask the PCP to refer you. If he won't you may want to find a new PCP. If you have lupus, are you under a rheumatologist? They might refer you to a neurologist. Hugs & prayers it will all work out soon! πŸ™‚πŸ™πŸŒΌπŸ’•

So supposed to see rheumatologist yesterday, but had blow out in route. They rescheduled my appt for end of March.

Oh no! I'm so sorry that happened. Well document every little detail of symptoms until then. Hugs & prayers the delay will turn out to be a blessing! πŸ™‚πŸ™πŸŒΌπŸ’•
