I am really sick of this insomnia. I sitting I'm my living room in the dark, once again. The sleeping pills don't work. Benedryl makes me sleep walk, ugh. Although I caught the neighbors son creeping home at 445am yesterday! I've turned into the o l d nosey neighbor

So you turned into the nosey neighbor. Don't worry newty, every neighborhood needs one. Lol. It must be extremely annoying not being able to sleep. All your senses sort of get heightened for noise. I am bipolar. I haven't suffered a bout for many years. I think because I am getting older and I don't have racing thoughts anymore. But when I suffered from a bout, I would not be able to sleep for a week but I was very happy not to sleep until the low came and I still couldn't sleep. Because my body is weird that way. Once I get too tired, my body refuses to want to sleep. It just fights it. So if I haven't slept for 3 days. I try taking three types of pills that will knock me out at the same time just to make my mind and body rest because sleeping pills don't work for me. That is something I would never tell my doctore. I just know safely what I can do. But I hope you can get to sleep soon. I am sure it is taking its toll on you. But if this becomes a regular thing, you can always volunteer for neighborhood watch. Lol. Just kidding. Best wishes to you.

I'm laughing at you being the nosey neighbor! We have several in our neighborhood. One actually comes down and turns around in the coldest before pulling in her driveway, just to look at everyone's house. Lol.

I'm sorry you're having insomnia. Thankfully I don't have it near as often as I did two years ago. When I do, I caffeine up until 3 PM and then relax from 6pm on. As of now I've only gone 48-52 hours awake in one stint. I avoid stressful situations or drama, even on TV before bed too. I drink milk before bed every night now, and if anxious I take anxiety meds. If I lay awake too long I take melatonin. My doc told me not to lay awake in bed but to leave the bedroom and read, nothing exciting of course. It has to put you to sleep. I even have soothing CDs that help me relax & fall asleep. I hope you can find some relaxing sleep soon. You must be exhausted, bless your heart. Hugs, love, & prayers you will sleep tonight! 🙂💕🙏🌼
