Amplified Pain Syndrome

Feb 15, 2017 10:39 PM

Hey y'all I'm Charlie. I'm a transgender 18 year old who's been having chronic pain since I was 13 years old. In 2014 I was diagnosed with APS. A year later I went into a rehabilitation center for kids like me called RAPS. I hated it, but I was determined to succeed. I was discharged 1 month after going in. In the program we did INTENSE pt/ot/excersing/yoga and mental therapy. Needless to say, it was hell. Most kids that went in were able to get better.. not me! But my spirit isn't broken and I have hope for myself and others who need some extra hope in their corner. I know that illness isn't common but I wanted to make a place where if you have it or know anyone who has it has a place of personal support. I hope y'all enjoy πŸ’•

Welcome to our community family! It's good that you tried your best. Just don't give up trying. This community is our lifeline for most of us, to speak up without feeling resented or judged about our pain. We are all supportive to each other. I'm trying to increase my activity, by just walking through my house or yard. I feel better when I can be active versus days I can barely move from my chair. Hugs love and prayers as you find ways of coping better with your pain! πŸ™‚πŸ’•πŸ™πŸŒΈ
