ANA

Sep 28, 2018 10:22 PM

Soo my ANA test came back positive. Its speckled so it puts me in the category of possibly having lupus, MCTD and several others. On one side I’m releaved the test showed something. I’ve had chronic pain for the past 9 years. On the other hand thinking lupus or RA were possibility due to symptoms and knowing it’s something from this list is totally different.
I have a general idea of what each of them are. I’ve done well I haven’t googled anything!
Im a little nervous and very anxious to see what this round of blood work shows.

Well you're closer to a confirmed diagnosis so that's good! I had a speckled ANA and it wasn't until I developed an oral rash that needed biopsy that I was dx with Sjogrens. And my symptoms include joint pain along with the dry eyes/nose/mouth. I know it's Sjogrens flare when my joints flare up, and a fibro flare when my muscle pain flares up. Hopefully you will know an affirmative answer and treatment soon! Hugs love and prayers 🙂❤🙏🌼

Getting close to finally knowing what was going on with you for so long is a relief I'm sure, I know it was for me when my fight long fight finally came to end in form of an awesome Dr who wouldn't give up until he found the answer in it that was a positive ANA wich turned out to be Sjogren's Syndrome and non active lupus. You're in my prayers, keep fighting you have back up 💖😉
