Jul 16, 2015 11:38 PM

Does anyone suffer with huge amounts of pressure in the tail bone bottom of spine areas( i do get swelling, and tenderness but this I can handle to a point) but the pressure is beyond any flair pain I've had before, this has been mths and mths on and off and my doctor just brushes it aside and said its ur arthritis it will settle do hydro spa and yoga which I do already when I can! can only describe the pain like the pressure I had in labour when giving birth pain meds don't even touch this pain at all :(
Just wondering if I need a second opinion or if others suffer this also and its normal and I just need to grin and bear it or it's not related and could be something else! this is becoming nearly am everyday thing lately :( thank you

Coopz6, have any of your docs suggested your tailbone area is collapsing and the discs are fusing together? That's happening in my neck lumbar and S1-3 areas. My pleasure pain has reduced since buying a coccyx pillow. It has a opening at the tailbone to reduce pressure. 🙏🌼

Thank you flappyslady81 I have taken your advice and just ordered a coccyx pillow hoping it will give some relief and help :) ( I hadn't heard of them but reading up its deff what I've been looking for expecally for driving) yes I do have fusing and brittle bone collapsing I'm used to pain (as many of us are) on a daily basis but this pressure is newish so was unsure if it was normal to have and I guess hoping and praying it will settle and be controlled and it's not progressing and this is what Ill now be stuck with :(

Coopz, unfortunately we're all stuck with our issues. That's why we have to help each other with ideas and suggestions, and support. Glad I could help! Have a blessed weekend! 🙏🌼

Agreed! I love having others opinions and inputs besides my dr and specialists I know they help but they don't suffer the same way so I always value others that do more and willing to try their ideas :)
Have a lovely weekend Flappyslady81 😃
