There are so many diseases that show a positive ANA. My ANA has been positive for over 3 years with a titer of 1:80 most of the time. So far all the other specific disease testing is negative. I have been told by Drs in the past that there are times you have anti bodies for so long that the antibodies although there do not register on blood work. The problem being Drs now place so much emphasis on blood results, MRIs, etc they shy away from clinical diagnosis’s.
When I had my ANA come back positive I was eventually diagnosed with Primary Sjogrens Syndrome and non active Lupus. A positive ANA is just a beginning of finding out what is wrong with you, good luck and prayers to you
