I'm going based on dancers at school (at an arts school, dance is the main movement) and I'd say it depends...there's one person who like me, had CRPS but we both got up after PT. She still gets pain and heat flashes. I'm beginning to wonder if you can call dancers spoonies by choice...with all the injuries, pain, and just will to keep going.
What is your situation? A year ago, I couldn't walk, but tonight I'll be in a dance concert. It depends on your body, really

I'd say at a professional level probably unlikely that you'd be able to continue for very long. But for fun is a totally different thing and i recommend going for fun as long as possible. It'll help emotionally and there will be less pressure.

I am/was/? a swing dancer, and am likewise frustrated at being so limited with what I can do now. Prayers and hugs 💜
