As we all know sleep is a gift and good sleep is a miracle.. So..when info decide to get up our the bed I'm only up for nearly an hour and then back in the bed. Today I'm not so much exhausted but weak. I don't feel like being up chatting with mom..she been up since 4 bang things and cooking . I was up at 2 doing some stretching.. Lol. But i find most of my days involve me getting up just to get back in the bed. Or sitting on the couch.
Just wondering if I'm alone here...lol

Newfibrogirl, no, you're definitely not alone!! I get up and do stuff and then I'm back in bed. Take my Mom or Dad somewhere and then when I get home, undress and back to bed, I'll get up and shower, change my clothes and then be shot and go back to bed. Since I live upstairs at my parent's house, I have to get up about 25 times a day to go downstairs to use the bathroom so there's my exercise.. Going up and down the stairs.... LOL!!! You know where I am right now?? That's right.. In bed!! πŸ’•πŸŒ»πŸ™πŸ»πŸ˜‚

Nope not alone hun, I feel like my battery has gone flat within an hour of getting up, its highly annoying. I literally sit there like someone has pulled my plug to tired to talk, moveetc many a time I have woken up with a biscuit stuck to my face or a cup of tea down my chest even a keyboard imprint on my forehead. Even thought I had narcolepsy at one point but nope just good old fibro and m.e xx hubbie has even had to catch me from falling head first from the sofa as I'm awake but just shut down KT seems. It can be quite amqusing once you get used to it.

Cnan.. OMG!! I wake up with food in my mouth, sometimes I'll be eating a yogurt and I'll drop the spoon on my chest and wake up with the cup in my hand, my hand on my lap and the cup tipped to the point that I've got a lap full of yogurt.. LOL!! I've fallen asleep standing at the sink while making a sandwich, fell asleep while sitting at the table and tipped off the chair.. LMAO!! I only take my muscle relaxers in the evening specifically because that's what they do to me. They're short acting but knock me on my ample ass!! πŸ˜ŠπŸ’•πŸ˜œπŸ˜³πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Lmao I'm sure you have a lovely ass and ifit's ample like mine least we have some built in shock absorbers 😜 must admit I have fell asleep many a time on the phone only to awake to CLARE CLARE !!!!!!!!!! WAKE UP lol also done the mouth full of food too. And the fork about half inch from my eye , worst one is falling asleep when i met my grandparent in laws for the first time, i acually nearly died of embarrassment when theybsaid i didnt thjink we were that old and boring luckily hubbie had explained I was Ill long time before I met them . never mind 50 shades of grey i tjrned 50 shades of red 😏 You have to laugh sometimes at the things we get up to lol. I like you take muscle relaxant at night, I don't think there would be a doorway safe from me if I took it earlier I'm also good at bumping into those even without a relanxant in me πŸ˜˜πŸ˜‚πŸ”ŒπŸ’

Cnan...lol.. I have fallen asleep with stuff food in my hand Early in my diagnosis but I had to make myself put stuff on the desk ..or I drink out of sports bottles ect. And when I snak I have it in a zip back..ha..to help control the mess....mom already has an issue with eating in the bedroom. But since I've been on a surgery kick lately or in so much pain and meds the bed is my life. But thanks guys.. I felt like I was not alone but you never know..lol...

Sometimes I'll fall asleep during a conversation or in the middle of a sentence something totally off subject and weird will come out of my mouth!! If I'm texting with someone, you may get a line of a text that looks like this
Sure tbdkememsxngfeo d sjrv
And I have no idea what the person getting it must be thinking.. LOL!!! When I start not being able to think or I start to say weird stuff, I shut the ringer on my phone so I don't chat with someone and they're like, what the hell is SHE on!! πŸ˜³πŸ™„ You really do have to laugh though.. If not, you'll end up crying.
Cnan, as for my ample ass, I think that if anyone saw it, they'd need therapy for life!! But you're right about the shock absorber!!!
Newfibrogirl I sure do get a workout on those stairs. Believe me, it's a struggle but there isn't anywhere for me downstairs. The back bedroom is very small, has a bed in it which I can't use and it would never fit all the years of shit I've collected over the years. So, until I absolutely can't get up and down the stairs, it'll have to do. Good thing is I drink 3-4 liters of water so I'm up and down every hour (sometimes 1/2 hour, sometimes 20 minutes) to hit the bathroom. What a pain in the ass.. LOL!!! πŸ’•πŸ˜Š

Y'all are making me laugh today! I get extremely tired after cooking or showering, etc, but thank goodness I've only fallen asleep when I'd get still in my chair or bed.

Cnan, i had a doctor tell me, after i took a bad fall many years ago, "well is agood thing you have extra padding because it kept you from breaking anything.". He's the only doc that was not worried about my weight! Lol Baby got back!

AlwayZ, I don't know how you do stairs with your knees. It's all I can do to step down off a curb without falling over. I quit using all stairs 2 years ago, then noticed the curb issue last year. Thankfully my house is a1-level ranch style. No steps even to the front door.

Hugs & prayers you all have a good weekend, despite the storm! πŸ™‚πŸ™πŸŒΌπŸ’•

I don't know how I do them either. I sometimes stand at the bottom and look up wanting to cry. I think it's my don't quit nature. I'm not giving in and that's where my room is.. LOL!! There are days I go down and can't come back up for a while so I sit with the folks and look at tv and then when I've had enough, I struggle my way back up. I can only go up using my right foot and then bring the left up to that step so it takes a bit to get up there. Coming down, I have to lead with the left and go one at a time and hold the railing and lean on the wall.πŸ’•πŸ™πŸ»πŸŒ»

Thankfully after years of bum shuffling up and down our stairs, dragging clean washing up them wrapped in a sheet I have moved into a bungalow, the one level is a god send. I can't do stairs in any way shape or form anymore which is a bit okf a pain when you have to refuse appointments etc because there isn't a lift etc. Know what you mean though about the stairs one at a time used to do that one that's on the way up coming down was easier considered I usually fell down the blooming things lol. I am as graceful as a gazelle mixed with a ballerina and a touch of fairy daintiness …......nah OK busted more like a stoned hippo crossed with a cement covered and set corpse.πŸ’€ My mobility has been replaced by something that resembles a zombie out of the movies that's in desperate need of some WD40 (oil). I've got more snap, crackle and pop than any breakfast cereal or popcorn. But I guess I wouldn't be me if j wasn't like this now and I wouldn't meet such lovely friendly people via sites like this if I was healthy so that's my little silver lining on this cloud called chronic pain . love and peace and pain reduced days to you all 😘 🌹 πŸ˜€
