Anyone ever have a shoulder replacement?

Feb 14, 2018 4:28 PM

On March 1, after years of severe pain, I am going to have a shoulder replacement of my right arm. That is my dominant arm and hand. I eat, shave, write and many other things on that hand so I figure that hand and arm will be useless. What I was wondering, was, if someone can tell me all the mess that I can look forward to after the surgery so I can plan for it. I am scared because they say with my weight it is a little risky but I need to have it done. The surgeon said if I don’t have it done, I will have lost too much of the bone to have it done in the future. So I need to be brave. I can do this. But I would like to plan. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you in advance
