Well I find when my stress starts to climb I do crave the junk or just want to eat. Like alwayz says get u a blanket and a good show to watch and live it up. Just careful. Take the time while u are splurging to listen to your body. See what it is trying to say
My flares usually start with a sore throat, tooth pain and not being able to get warm. I usually take some oil of oregano (93% from the health food store) and if it's not burning to high hell and making me want to tear my throat out then its a flare.
Don't feel alone Jesswoo, because I have trouble identifying mine sometimes too. I've had sinus drainage for two months. Usually when I'm flaring, I do have abnormal fatigue. Colds and viruses don't always give me fatigue. I hope you are feeling some better by now. Hugs & a prayer you'll be better by the holidays! 🙏🌼
I don't have fibro, but I also do have difficulty determining if I'm also going into a flare up. Jess, like you I do crave junk food, the sweeter the better in my case. Usually will start out with a weird ache and fatigue. If I don't recognize it in time, good bye productive day and hello bed. Just want to curl up in my bed, under my comforter and snooze the day away if I can.
My flares will start with a general Malaise, Not being able to get warm, and horrible sugar and greasy food cravings (donuts especially). All of which aggravates the flare. Take it easy and try a way to relax- I like a hot bath for those moments, and as long as I stay away from the junk, the flare is fairly mild.
