I did before I went on the pump. Have you told your doctor? That is a crappy feeling. I hope it gets better. I will say my blood sugars are not as good during a flare due to inactivity and eating too many carbs because I'm tired and sad. Let me know how it goes. Are your blood sugars high or low? Are you on insulin or pills?
I recently started taking Farxiga and have no lows.. a few highs but that was because of eating too many carbs. I have quick acting insulin to cover those highs and I take levemir at night.. my A1C is coming down and with the new pills it is processed through the kidneys. I feel better and not like I am constantly chasing the insulin. I have also had 3 flares or one really really long flare up in the last month and haven't noticed a big increase in sugars
I had always had problems with blood sugar levels and these days I eat a high fat diet called a ketogenic diet whereby you pretty much cut out carbs completely. It means eating a balance of food including lots of good fats, protein, and non starchy veg. I feel less lethargic, don't get hyperglycaemia any more and the side effect is its reduced the inflammation and pain in my joints. Best change I ever made.
