I'm suppose to use a cool mist humidifier, to help with my sjogrens dryness; eyes, nose, throat. I've been shopping around and came across something I've never heard before.
I've read Ultrasonic filterless units cause "white dust" on the furniture, which can be harmful to those with breathing issues, like asthma. Yet the units with filters aren't as well liked from reviews.
If you use one please let me know which one (s), the pros & cons.
I've always used filter ones. Our first one was too small (it only held 2 gallons of water) so we gave it to my nephew. Our second one we gave to my Dad because it caused it to rain in the house and ruined our 42 inch flat panel TV. (Apparently it made our inadequately insulated roof sweat) We now have a small one gallon that we use just in the bedroom and only when our noses get way too dry. (We don't want it to rain in the house again. LOL)
Flappyslady81 I'm glad you asked this question cause I was wondering too what kind to buy. Because it will help the dryness from us having Sjögren's and it feels good to them too. But I saw the same one and was like what kind do I buy
It'a a Sunbeam we bought it at Walmart in December. My Dad is still using my old floor model (can't remember what that one was. I just remember we bought it at Sears 6-7 years ago) He loves it but also has a large house so it doesn't make it rainin the house.
I never thought about bacteria growth & mold. I'll need to check because mold also causes probs for me. I haven't seen a monkey but I did see an elephant one. Maybe I'll put a little whimsy in my room! Lol. Thanks!! 🙂💕🙏🌼
