Are your migraines weather related?

Aug 17, 2017 6:38 AM

Okay, I've had a migraine for a couple of days and my body is full flair mode and when I woke up this morning I know why. My migraines are always seemingly worse when my weather is nasty, this is what my day's going to look like... Stormy and painful.

So sorry about your migraines! That weather looks awful. I'll be thinking about you and hoping you feel better soon.

I can predict weather with my head. As soon as the pain starts, rain/snow/storm is about 4 hours away (even if not in forecast). Drop in barometric pressure causes the migraine. I use ear plugs that help with that, Ear Planes or MigraineX. They both work the same but ear planes cheaper. Can be found at pharmacies. Helps take edge off and decreases severity. Feel better. I’ve got a rain migraine today.

Do you guys know any good apps that can help keep track of weather and pain? I've been looking for one but haven't been lucky

I use weather.com weather app. There is also MigraineX app which tracks barometer and alerts if drop is coming. But I found it to be useless because you can’t track your migraines in the app. So I strictly use the weather app, which gives alerts on allergy, mold, breathing, barometer, lightening, etc. it’s free
