I would like to know if anyone else on here suffers from stroke pain? I have met a lot of people that have had strokes and they don't suffer from pain. I am wondering why I do. I sometimes feel like people think I'm lying about it. my neck and shoulder hurts the worst right now. I go see a doctor once a month to adjust the bones in my neck that only works for a little while. my entire left hand side stays in pain. it hurts more when I have over done things, when it is going to rain,or when I get emotional. it always feels like I have been sitting to close to a fireplace and I can't get away from it. I also can't feel temperatures . I feel like I'm too young to have all these problems now. I had my stroke at 43. that was was 5 years ago and I still hurt. any advice for relieving this pain?

@idb1965: I have had a mini stroke (TIA) my main problems are my balance and some memory issues. So far, I do not have pain other than my peripheral neuropathy pain, which is not as bad as many have. I call my pain, a 'dripping faucet' type of pain as it wears me down, a little at a time. Stopped work and that helps my pain.

Your body temperature almost sounds like 'hot flashes'! Wish I had an answer for you.
