Assistance with medicines (programs)

Nov 22, 2015 8:26 PM

I have been helping people locally who don't have much money or don't make a lot of money get access to health care local free of charge. I also help them get access to medicines they need with prescription assistance programs. It helps me feel useful when I don't work any longer. It gives me purpose to help others.

So I wanted to offer my services on here as well. It will be a little harder. But if someone needs specific medicines, I can do the research for them to find the meds they need or a drug offered by a different company that is similar. I can find if their if there is a program that will give you the medicine at no cost or a copayment. I can find the income guidelines and find out if you qualify. Then link you to the form to fill out and take to your doctor. I have done this for my friends and myself. This is something I just want to volunteer a couple hours a day to do.

If anyone needs that kind of help, my email is the_profiler@comcast.net . There is no fees or agenda. Like I said, I just want to volunteer to help people who need access to some meds.

Profiler. I think this is really cool, plus volumen can be extremely empowering, which is good for anyone with a chronic illness. I also would be interested to hear more at some point, but I'm still trying to get the troll out of my head.

I used to help out with making quilts for a local NICU, which was pretty cool, but slightly depressing

Thank you Flappy and Alwayz. That makes me feel good that you consider me a friend. I don't have a lot of them mostly because I don't get out much but I value the ones that I have.
