I've been collecting baseline pain data for a school project. I have 12 days of data. Essentially, were supposed to change a behavior to see if it improves our lives. I'm choosing to do 10 min of yoga per day to see if it reduces my pain. Well, I have my average.... a 7 (out of 10). I'm really surprised it came own exactly to a 7.
I'm not sure how low I should make my pain goal. A 6?
I'm also trying to see if there are any patterns I can immediately grab on to, for my own knowledge.
Top three triggers: anxiety, stress, weather
Pain comes on very fast (4.4 out of 5)
Pain descriptors top theee: aching, soreness, stiffness
Other top three symptoms with pain: foggy head, anxiety, dizziness & fatigue tied for third
My pain map is attached- red is the worst and yellow is the least but there's still pain. (The purple spot on my butt means that I haven't reported pain there 😂).
I'm curious as to what you think my pain goal should be. I'm also curious as to whether you are seeing anything in the pain map I should be concerned about. I was diagnosed with Fibro, but I always wonder if something else is there. Also, if you want to share, what's your average pain?
