Apr 28, 2016 3:25 AM

Just thinking of all that's going on. Now don't get me wrong there are very good things happening with me . one is my makeover I won ,that's happening tomorrow.. But the pain and the feeling of being alone is really strong right now.

I hate that feeling, just know you are not alone! The feeling will pass, it just sucks when so strong. I am feeling the same feelings here in Ohio :( Hoping the medication I just took will kick in along with the giant heating pad I am laying on. Hang in there, if ya need to talk or rant whatever... know I am awake and feeling with you

Thank you.. I appreciate the support. I've been dealing with caring for both my Parents along with my issues. Feeling selfish since I feel my health and health care are going neglected while my parents are being tended to. It's sound horrible to say it out loud. I'm just feeling really dependant and I hate that feeling. I wish there was a way to help this feeling pass a little faster.
I'm sorry your in pain also. But like you I'm.here if u need an ear.

Thanks for that. I have my days, my psychiatrist just upped Wellbutrin and it is helping. I was so stressed and depressed, a little better each day. Hoping you have a little helper, especially in your stressful situation

Hey Rocky52, I can't imagine so many surgeries. I've had cervical spine surgery for advanced degenerative disk disease and spinal stenosis at C4,5,6. The nerves in my neck are permanently damaged and any strain to my neck causes the muscles to flare and push on my nerves. I also have degenerative and stenosis in my lumbar with nerve pain that shoots from L5 to my right hip, leg, knee and foot, but no surgery on lumbar at this point, just chronic pain. I am now fortunate enough to have relocated to LA and am at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. My new rheumatoidolgist has prescribed me Voltaren Gel and a lidocaine gel. She has also discussed steroid shots and nerve blocking shots to my worst spots. I can't take oral anti-inflammatory meds due to previous stomach bleeding. There are so many more options out there than there used to be. My previous neurologist prescribed me baclofen for chronic muscle spasms. I'm on the fence with that one, since my spasms and pain are still too intense. If you don't have a good supportive specialist, find one and be brutally honest. Also was told heat is best for my conditions. Good luck

I understand where you are. I often feel that way. No one I know or is close to me has fibro and many people believe it's in my head. My husband tries hard to understand but he can't always. I am usually up until 3-330 am your time. I will talk to you if it helps.
