Im curious as to how many people have tried the epsom salt bath. Has it helped with the pain at all? Do you put anything else in it to help?

Hi Shelby3. I've heard of it but haven't tried it. Mostly because I can no longer get in & out of a bathtub anymore safely. I've fallen twice... Lol I wasn't hurt, but it was a funny site! I have used Epsom for foot soaks and they do work, from hangnails to sprains. I would think they work in a film bath too. And no I wouldn't use anything with it. Let me know how it works if you try it. Goodnight! 🙏🌼

I've had Epsom Salt baths, but my kegs can no longer take being in warm water so I dissolve Epsom Salts and spray the water onto the skin. It seems to help with certain types of muscle spasms, but not as much for overall pain.

I'm in love with Dr. Teal's Relax & Rejuvenate Epsom Salts. I take reeeally hot baths, and submerge myself as much as possible (I'm 5'11", so it's a sight).

I take so many baths I should have gills. Yrs Epsom salts absolutely help me. Not directly on pain but with muscle aches and any relief is a bonus. I use 6 or 7 cups in a jacuzzi bathtub. Also if you cannot get in a tub you can still get the benefits from doing a concentrated foot soak or by spraying it on your body. I do not prefer that method because it leaves me feeling sticky and itchy like when you are in saltwater on a beach. Technically you kinda are. The magnesium is thought to help your nerves send information properly to the brain. Also I read a study that as many as 80% of us are suffering some degree of magnesium deficiency. I purchased a very concentrated bottle on line and it was just over priced and down right painful. Save your money and mix your own Epsom salts are cheap I purchase mine at Sam's 10 pounds for $6.00. Happy bathing to all.
