Battling the Thoughts

May 07, 2017 3:06 PM

I was wondering what you guys do or say to yourself when you're down and out.
I went in vacacrion with my boyfriend of almost 3 years and we walked all over the zoo, the island, and the car ride itself was almost 3 hours each way.
Today I'm feeling miserable. My entire body feels bruised and sore and I'm in bed. I know he loves me and isn't irritated but my brain keeps the negative thoughts coming like "he deserves better" "he would love someone else who was able to do more than you" "you're lazy" "he wants someone better than you".

What do you guys do or say to yourself in times like this?
Thank you.
And attached is one of my favorite pictures from the zoo. Ring Tailed Lemur.

Anything comical helps distract my brain from thinking too much. I tend to think too much and too fast. At night when my brain keeps racing I try online sleep hypnosis on YouTube, I especially like judy Whitman sleep hypnosis for anxiety or depression. Sends positive thoughts to your brain all night
