Blood Letting

Apr 04, 2015 9:59 AM

A few years ago my family doctor thought I had Hemochromatosis and sent me for phlebotomies every week to get the iron down, I noticed that the next day I felt much better. He had to stop as the dna test came back and I am only a carrier.

I started going to the red cross and donate blood, I always felt better after and could tell when the time was coming near again. I am not allowed there now even though my doctor wrote a note saying my condition is not blood related.

Has anyone else ever had this done and noticed feeling better. I have been trying to figure out a way to do this at home but everyone just chuckles and says "goood luck with that".
