Bones hurting

Jun 08, 2016 3:39 PM

Does anyone have a pain that is so unbearable it feels like your bones are opening apart and you can actually feel it or your head feels like it going to pull apart right in the middle. ...if you do is this fibro as well and what do you do to make it stop

I suffer that way when I'm having a flare and also when I'm overwhelmed with stress. I have degenerative joint and disc disease so my bones really ARE falling apart. I also suffer from RSD/CRPS and a laundry list of other stuff. I wish I could tell you how to make it stop. I use distraction, mindfulness and guided meditation. I also listen to music, sing, dance (yes dance) and come here to get support from my peeps!! Maybe a hot bath or heating pad or some tiger balm or other medicated balm to help. I wish you the very best and hope I've been at least a bit helpful.{{{Hugs}}}💕🙏🏻🌻😊

I get very deep bone pain at times. I have fibromyalgia, OA, osteopenia, DDD/DJD, and sjogrens. I honestly can't troll what causes the bones to hurt so badly, if it's one of these or a combination of. I can say that overexertion can cause it, as does a fibro flare. But my fibro & sjogrens flares actually come within days of each other. I try to do stretches and walk on a treadmill every day. But if i can't I don't beat myself up about it. I relax with music, funny shows or movies, books, and playing mind challenging games. I take warm showers & use microwaved rice socks (tube sock filled with rice, knotted & microwaved - or chilled) for stiffness, use Voltaren gel & muscle relaxers, & Tylenol arthritis for pain, and gabapentin for the neuropathies in my hands & feet. I have tramadol for flare ups, and plaquenil for sjogrens. I also started taking vitamin D3 & magnesium supplements, after reading of others good results. It's taken me 4 years to learn what aggravates, what helps, what to avoid, and how to best cope. Hugs & prayers your journey to finding ways to cope will be much shorter! 🙂💕🙏🌼

My bones feel like something is raking a fork down them. Similar to a bone marrow biopsy if you have ever had that done without anesthesia. I have a blood disease- essential thrombocytosis which causes my body to make a very high number od platelets. That is known to cause bone pain in its own right, but as a bonus I have RA that causes my joints to also hurt. When both are acting up "Oh holy hell." Epsom salt in a long hot bath gives me more relief than any drug out there. Occasionally ice helps but usually it is heat.

Of- not od. However my platelets are odd shaped.
