I have fibro. When I overdo, I know I'll pay for it the next day or two - but with kids, summer, family vacations and reunions, I'm finding it difficult NOT to overdo. What have you found that helps you bounce back faster?
Sometimes I just need to take time to be alone and by myself and remember that I can't do everything. Aromatherapy and Music can be more helpful for me than I expected. I find it's easier to try and stop myself from overdoing things rather than trying to recover from it afterwards.
I am also going to add another voice to the "moderation" front. It is MUCH easier to remind myself that I cannot do it all and keeping up with everyone all the time and that my health, safety and sanity are more important than pleasing everyone. Good luck.
