Burn tips

Nov 17, 2016 1:48 AM

Whats your tips to get through the burning sensation with Fibro?
My back, legs, feet and arms all burn. Sometimes all together and other times it could be any. Pain killers dont help it at all, cant have a cool bath to ease it as we dont have 1.

Kell74, I wish I knew what to tell you that would be helpful. I experience burning over much of my body due to RSD/CRPS. It's gotten to the point, I even have it in my mouth. I haven't found anything that has stopped the burning. I've been on Neurontin, pregabelin, gabapenten, cymbalta (all with side effects that my body and mind couldn't tolerate) and they didn't help me. That being said, it doesn't mean that these meds wouldn't work you.
I have no doubt that someone will be along with their experiences and perhaps be able to give you better information. In the meanwhile, I wish you well, welcome you to the community and send positive vibes and good karma your way. {{{Hugs}}}💕😊

Thanks Alwayz :) im not sure about those meds but they might be a different name here ( Australia ) the only thing my dr will give me is panadine fort and thats not helping. I was put on lyrica a few weeks ago and thats helped but not with the burning :(
That must be so hard to be in your mouth as well, i take my hat off to you, i have a few friends with CRPS and the battle they have everyday amazes me

For whatever reason Benadryl helps me.

Mimikay, benedryl may help you due to the antihistamine properties that bring down inflammation. It works for some and not for others. I'm glad that it helps you though. That's awesome!!💕😊
