Came Crashing Down

Hello my fello pain sufferers, I Hope this finds all of my fellow pain sufferers feeling decent today and that you are enjoying the sunshine and almost Spring Life weather. I have to say that I have just had one bad thing after another this week.. Yesterday, I took my older Sister for her Chemo treatment as I always do. I was not feeling well and all week I have been feeling like I got hit by a bus. Not sick, just wishy washy and tired and in the middle of a fibro flare. At any rate, I got up to leave the doctor's office and told my Sister that she would have to have someone pick her up because I couldn't handle my pain levels and had to get out of there. I was standing up and trying to stretch my back, etc. and the lady that was there with her hubby that is also getting chemo and she looked at me and asked me if I was alright. She said I was very pale and that I was sweating. I told her i had to get home and take my first dose of medication and try to get some rest. I bid everyone good day, walked outside and when the air hit me, I felt really strange, my feet started to go all over the place, I had no control over my body and then BAM, down I went... After I finally got up (There was nobody in the parking lot to help me and I couldn't get up), then I sat in the truck for about ten minutes and then came home. When I got here, I got out of my truck and the same feeling hit me again. I put cool compresses on my head and neck, had some water and a protein bar, came to my room and took some meds. Fast forward to today.... I am really hurting, banged up, sore and washed out. Came back to my room from being in the bathroom and BANG..... I stubbed my toes into the Ferret playpen which is steel bars... (You guessed it, broke my pinkie toe and the one before it). After a huge string of profanity came out of my mouth, I looked down at my foot and the last toe was pointing away from my other toes and the two of them were turning purple as I watched. I am in my new chair, snuggling my quilt, pillow under my foot, the toes taped and I'm dozing on and off, even while writing this... LOL!!! I hope that all of you have gotten some resolve to your issues and that you are having a really peaceful and light pain Sunday. I go to pain management tomorrow and I am hoping her will take some xrays and let me know what's broken, fractured, torn, etc... Then I will come home, take my meds, get back into my jammies and then just relax for the day. Sorry this post is so long and I am off to chill now. I will catch up with all of you tomorrow and I hope you all have sweet dreams and a good night's sleep.

What a rotten week you've had! I sure hope this week is much better for you. Hope your toes heal quickly and that you figure out what is going on otherwise too. Sending soothing and healing thoughts your way.

Oh no! Rough day!! I felt that kind of lightheaded ness after a chiro visit last week and ended up sitting next to my car in the parkinglot because the cold pavement felt good for half an hour. I was the only one left in the parking lot and didn't want to rush anything so I just sat until I felt I could make it to walmart where I bought some bolthouse juice. It was rough. I'm glad I didn't actually fall.
I hope you get a little sleep and get to the doctor safely tomorrow.

AlwayZ, have you ever fell out/passed out before? Are you OK to drive yourself? Keep us posted. And I'll keep you in my prayers. 🙏🌼

Thanks for the support everyone. Flappsy, I have fallen before because my balance is not what it used to be. It has been years since I have passed out but I have. I was out with a friend one day and felt kind of off and when I stood up from the front steps, I passed out. She made me call the doctor and took me immediately and it turned out my blood pressure was very low as was my blood sugar and I guess the combination just made me hit the deck. I also think that after analyzing the day and day before, I hadn't eaten anything but a hard boiled egg on Friday afternoon and I didn't drink enough. I also didn't eat Saturday or have anything to drink because i was up running around, showering and then drove to pick up my sister, took her for her chemo treatment (I wasn't feeling well and my pain levels were way up), I hadn't even taken my morning pain meds because I was driving. So, I think that not eating and being slightly dehydrated and in alot of pain caused it. I saw the doctor, my blood pressure was 128/73 and my resting pulse was a little elevated at 78 but I was nervous that he was going to find something wrong with me. I was ok when I drove home and sat in the car in the driveway. When I got out of the car, I got that same feeling all over again. Today everything seems to be alright in that regard. I have already drank 2 liters of water but haven't eaten because I can't eat when I'm not hungry. I will eat a protein bar and a Greek Yogurt for lunch and just take it easy. Thanks for the concern, I really appreciate the prayers more than you know.
