Camping!

Jan 19, 2017 9:47 AM

Going camping with my best friend. Getting away from the hustle and bustle and more important - the noise - of city life. Ohhhh I can feel it, anticipation! :)

Not sure if I will get internet access but I will get pictures to share later if anyone's interested.

Toodles!

Alwayz. Primitive tent camping. Right now - besides the camp host - there's only one other person camping. And he is on the other side - so it feels like we are out in the middle of nowhere. Coyotes are serenading us from the other side of the lake. Deer are everywhere. The stars are stunning in their brightness. I can breathe - I feel alive.

I am grateful for mattress pads and those egg crate foam bed covers. ;)

This was sunset. Last night we sat by a fire 🔥 and listened to the coyote. It sounded like surround sound. There's a serenity I find when I can get away from all the man made noises. :)

Mimikay, how amazing this is!!! I understand that feeling of tranquility because when I am around horses, that's when I find peace and solice. Nothing else exists when my hands are on a horse. Wish I had the ability to do it more than I do.
