Cannibis is being studied by the FDA for Chronic Pain

Jul 26, 2015 8:36 PM

I just thought I would let you all on a study I just read yesterday. I don't know if I am spelling it right, Cannibas. I don't use it so I don't write it. But the study has been granted to an Israeli company that is going to use cannibas in a tablet, cigerette, and oil extract form to treat chronic pain, migraines, fibromyalgia and a few other things. I don't know what the primary area is going to be the specific people they are looking at. But that is what they talked about the uses would be for. I am sure it would take a long time to get to us. They were saying with NSAIDS being so dangerous for us especially as much as we need to use them and there risk for stroke and heart attack. That they need to find new approaches. So they say cannibas will do this and is a fever reducer as well. Well, I just thought I would let you all know of this study. I has news about new pain approaches sent to me in an email. I hope you all are feeling as weel as you can today.

I know Cannabis helped my neighbor feel a lot better, but she always had someone with her. I know I consider a lot of options, and medical marijuana is definitely one of them, but not until I'm older. Is it more specifically for the oil versions?
I wouldn't smoke it ever because it would trigger my asthma. I have seen some articles about seizures, and from what I've read seizures and chronic pain are pretty similar, or happen together depending on the person. I find it funny that NSAIDS are only recently getting acknowledged to have of term side effects.

They actually produce it in two ways in certain states where they have banned smoking. In NY, there is no smoking and I'm glad because smoking anything always bothered my breathing and I haven't smoked in over 30 years. They have the oil which you can with use with a vaporizer pen OR you can buy edibles. They have candy bars (which one square is a dose), they have lollipops, cookies and all kinds of things. From what I've read, eating it is the best way to ingest medical marijuana because it goes into your digestive tract differently and then for some reason or another, it works for a longer period of time. I hope that when it becomes legal where you are, you find the way it works the very best for you. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. 💕🙏🏻🌻
