Magnesium. You can soak in the bath in Epsom salts and there is a drink from the health food store called natural calm. This will also help relax muscles. You can also try melatonin from the drug store. Good luck.
Benadryl - take one - or on and a half when I really need to sleep. I dated a nurse who recommended it because that’s what they gave cardiac patients however you got to make sure it doesn’t interact with other cried. Since I’m on antihistamines it typically that asked me out
Liquid Melatonin is the only way. Been through hell and back(literally) and this is the only thing that won't get you "crazy" if you need to stop; like Ambien, plus our bodies make it. The biggest thing it Works!!! I have a lot of sleep issues outside of chronic pain(ie: RLS) and I get good sleep with it too.
I suggest Benadryl. I take one every day to help me sleep and there are some days where I have to take another one later on because I cannot get back to sleep. I sleep during the day and I sleep some at night but I get most of my sleep during the day. I hope that this helps and you are able to get some good sleep.
Change the room or go to another bed or on floor if you cant sleep in 15 to 20 minutes and don’t use electronic device when its bed time. Don’t use caffeine post lunch or evening as well and use your bed only for sleeping not for eating, reading, watching TV and avoid afternoon naps. I hope it will help you to get sleep easier. Don’t think about sleep too much
