Case of the shakes.?

Jan 03, 2016 6:04 PM

So..I remember this coming up in another tread. But I've just got hit with a case of of the shakes. It started from like an inside shaking kind of weak. But the. Came to a full outward ahake.kind of still got a bit of it. My mom saw it while I was trying to eat.
Thinking I may have been hungry. It was actually kind of funny on one hand. Because I was eating f peas with a fork..so yes shaking hands with peas on a fork....yea..think about
..lol ..lol..
But
What have u guys found to help this or what the cause was. I know I was feeling ki d of weak before I took a shower . I had done my workout with the bands ealrier and made a big dinner today. Other then the shakes and weakness and fatique I actually had a good day . not much pain. Once the sun came up. Even though I had not much consecutive sleep either.. I did eat a price of candy once my mom saw
And that seemed to help calm the outward shakes. But still feel kind of like I need to nkt move around much.

Jan 03, 2016 6:21 PM

When you are going the "change" its like wicked PMS for months, you are actually begging for a period... No lying here, it was wicked...love ,terri

Jan 03, 2016 7:30 PM

If eating helped I'd have to say low blood sugar.

Jan 03, 2016 9:38 PM

Lmao yes I said MONTHS.. I remember bawling , at my doctors office ,begging her to give me something so I would have a period. She just giggled a little and said it would make it worse... It eventually leveled out , I feel much better now.,

I had shakes due to pain. At one point the pain was so bad I had "pain seizures" the gabapentin has stopped a large portion of it.

Jan 04, 2016 5:31 AM

Shammagren..I've had the sweats just before a major pain hits..so I do suppose the shakes could also e a symptom. It's just weird and scary how I keep seeing g new symptoms.

Jan 04, 2016 8:32 AM

Sorry Michelle, I do have more stories of going thru da change! (Giggling)

Jan 04, 2016 4:14 PM

I hear you newfibrogirl I tell my family another day another issue. And I had the sweats too. Thought I was having a heart attack because I don't sweat. Then more symptoms, seems like I rolled through quite a few. That was a year ago when I hit the pain seizures. I wish I could go back to that my newest thing is I fall asleep out of no where.

Just a thought keep a list of all symptoms on your phone that way if you see specialist or other doctors you don't have to try and remember what they are and each doctor has the same list. I keep mine in a shopping list app I have.

Jan 04, 2016 9:26 PM

My hands shake like crazy when my pain gets level 10 bad. Nothing stops them except laying down for a few days and doing nothing.

Take care of yourself and take a break once and awhile. Eat healthy too, malnourishment can worsen symptoms sometimes.

Jan 05, 2016 4:49 PM

Sounds like you may have overexerted the muscles with the bands. I get tremors just holding anything, and yes eating can be quite comical! Lol 😉 But the weakness makes me think overexertion of exercise. The reason I say that is last month in PT it happened and the next appt he therapist cut back saying it was overexertion.😷🙏🌼

Thanks flappys I'm both happy and sad for your advice. Happy because it ties into what I've learned today bout juicing. I've been doing a fruit clense for three weeks..oops. Not supposed to do more then a week. Lol.. But sad because it causes me to think back on my old me. When I woudl spend and hour or treadmill and weights. I suppose that would put me in the hospital today..lol... But I'm still trying to come!e back to baseline. Still feeling ki d of weak and out of it. But yesterday my day of rest turned into a two hour shopping trip then to pick up lunch plus a 13 mile drive. By the time I got home ii was a dish rag. Lol.

That's alright, because we all tend to forget our limitations now and then. I've done it recently over the holidays, probably extending my cold. I'm working on exercises, but my PT therapist told me none on sick days or days I'm hurting; as long as I can do 3 days a week in doing good. She said to work on it slow and steady with gradual increases. I oppose you feel much better soon! 😷🙏🌼

Jan 05, 2016 7:11 PM

Thanks... Ive heard that cold is something else to get ride of. I'm hoping u heal up real soon. I chuggled at the part where no excerise on days ur hurting.. I don't know bout you if I ever see a day where I don't hurt at all I'm gonna bottle it and give it to all my friends here. Lol

Jan 05, 2016 7:30 PM

Me either. I bet she just meant flares. I had a few bad days during those 12 weeks and she'd go light on me those days. My SI joints keep moving out of place, for the days now. Makes me wonder is fusing them would be the best option. One doc offered but I freaked thinking, "but they're meant to move!". Being barely able to get in & out of the car or chair yesterday I began to seriously consider it. As for the cold, it is going around bad. I had to show I'd to purchase Robitussin CF! Fentynl patches are being mixed with heroin in our area. They stopped selling Sudafed for the same reason. So sad! 😷🙏🌼

Jan 05, 2016 7:38 PM

Yes it is sad.. It's like just stick to your illegal drugs and leave the other s stuff alone so those of us who really need the help can get it. Dang it...lol..sorry.. It's a little frustrating.. Lol.. But as for your cold doesn't autoimmune issues cause healing to be slower?

Jan 06, 2016 10:21 AM

Yes, or at least that's what my docs have said. I've asked family not to come around when they're sick because it always takes me 2-3 times as long to get over. And I've been this way since I developed asthma in 2001. 😷🙏🌼
