Chronic headaches

Sep 18, 2015 3:12 PM

I've had headaches every day for about a year in a half, ranging from a lvl 3 to about a 12 (migraines, ugh). They are accompanied by mid to extreme light sensitivity and dizziness. Doc has me on about 4 different medications, but while they seem to keep the pain at manageable levels, they never go away completely...anyone else have similar issues or know anything to try?

Shadowdragon, I was having daily migraines 2+ years ago. I went to a pain specialist and he did epidural steroid injx at the C7-T2 levels; 1 injx every 4-8 weeks, for 3 total injx. He did this twice over 2 years and I don't get 4 migraines a year. My sister gets botox for hers. I hope you can find something to bring you relief and better control. You'll be in my prayers. 🙏🌼

I get headaches a lot, from detergents, deodorant, perfume, and cleaning products. Not fun, to say the least. I found kava kava root, and Magnolia bark extract. They help my headaches be more bearable.

Yes I experience it too that the migraines are never fully clear.
