Blessedforsure, for some reason my right jaw and teeth are hurting like they have been clenched all day. I'm going to try a heated rice filled sock for a little while. Hope you get some relief. 🙏🌼

Mumof3boys, I just paid for the splint I'm to wear 24/7 except when I eat. I can't say it's really helped me. My tm joints have deteriorated so badly the lower jaw has solid backwards, giving me a complete overbite. A surgeon wanted to do surgery but because of osteopenia he's afraid my bones wouldn't heal.

I wish there was a splint to wear on top & bottom that would adjust my lower jaw forward. And the heated socks work well. I also heat the shoulder wrap and completely wrap both jaws, chin, and top of head sometimes. Ahhh! Lol. 🙏🌼

Omg poor you sorry but all I can picture is the old fashioned dentist with bandages around jaw and head after having tooth pulled. Apologies for that. In this day n age surprised no other treatment available for u.

Thanks Mum! It is what it is and the only thing I can do is try to strengthen what bone mass I have now by increasing my calcium & vit D intake, and using hand weights. My mom had osteoporosis when she died. My sisters, dad & mom all lost jaw bone to deterioration early in their lives, so I'm actually blessed to still have most of my teeth. My brother and I both broke our legs in childhood, and our doctors said we had "weak, girly bones" even then! Lol. I just pray I never fall and break a hip! When I slipped on a wet floor in'97 the ER doc said "your padded backside probably saved your back from breaking.". 😉 See, there is an upside to weighing more! 🙏🌼

In addition, is there anything in your life which stresses you out? I had to eliminate several stressors in my life: e.g. not seeing specific people anymore, giving up several activities and finding new ones which I enjoy.
