cloves?

Oct 11, 2015 12:04 AM

OK so Dr said tethered spinal cord could be causing nerve pain in lower extremities and back. Says my reflexes aren't normal and was so impressed with my foot reflex he called his student in to show. He said the type reflex my foot was called cloves and said "don't read all stuff online and freak out because he doesn't think I have anything that is usually associated with cloves.". Making me an appointment with neurologist to double check the tethered cord. Went from being told fibro, ruptured disc, peripheral neuropathy to??? Started the voltran pills again seems help my fingers and increased gab to 1800 mg day and lorcet to 7mg lorcet just doesn't seem to help no matter the dose

I'm so sorry to hear everything that is going on, but I pray that they find out what the accurate cause to all of your pain and trials are so they can start treatment accordingly. You will remain in my thoughts and prayers. Please keep me posted on any and all news. God Bless you my friend! !!!

Achy, I'm not familiar with tethered cord or cloves, but it doesn't sound like it's a simple thing from what you wrote. You're in my prayers! And let's all hope there's a simple resolution with few to no complications long term. (((Hugs))) 🙏🌼

The increased gabapentin and increased lorcet and the voltran send to have helped with the pain and knocked the edge off. Today I've started antidepressant called celexa. Never heard of it. Pray this helps when my mental state as maybe the pain will stay manageable
