Laalaa, I have terrible intolerance to hot and cold. I used to be able to go out in the snow in a sweater and not be cold. Now, I get so cold that I hibernate like a bear. I get cold, then hot and then get cold chills down my back and then I'm hot and cold at the same time.. It's weird. I'm also menopausal so it could have something to do with that as well. I just can't find a happy medium any more.
I just recently had my feet feel cold on the inside. My daughter, who is yet to be diagnosed with Fibro but probably has it, has been getting cold sensations on the inside of her shins for years. I am intolerant to cold, have been for years. I have central air & keep the house at 22C (72F) year around. Everyone else is comfortable but I wear a quilted jacket most of the time & a quilted blanket on my legs unless I'm wearing jeans. I always have a light jacket in my car or at work because if there's AC I'm shivering while everyone else is fine.
I can't tolerate either well. I have fibro & sjogrens, and my PCP has suspected I have Raynaud's for about 3 years. Although the rest of me is warm right now (96 F outside), my fingers & toes feel like ice. Occasionally I go through child and or sweats, but that is likely my thyroid, per my endocrinologist.
My fingers and hands and feet get like ice too! I am so rugged up all the time and really like jackets that come down over my bum to keep my back warm cause of this. Its really frustrsting. Im dreading summer cause we have some scorchers and idk how my body will handle it now.
I have a lot of symptoms present or worsen in heat and cold. I think it's related to autonomic instability for me, but I haven't had a doctor tell me that (yet). Being in the water helps me on those days.
