I was diagnosed with fibro almost 2 years ago. I have just recently made multiple ER visits and received a colitis diagnosis. Now I am hearing talk of Gallbladder disease. Any help and/or info would be appreciated.

SRamsey, I don't have colitis, but I have fibro, IBS-C, GERD, and I lost my gallbladder in 2003 after years of suffering. All my tests were negative so the doc had to wait for 2 years of documented care before it could be removed. Can you believe that?!! It was severely damaged and on the verge of rupture when the surgeon took it out. Relief was immediate! Last year I was diagnosed with Barrett's Esophagus, which can then to cancer. That surgeon said repairing the hiatal hernia and having fundoplication repair to the esophagus will hopefully help prevent further damage. I have to take daily fiber supplement with magnesium, Colace & Senna-S for the IBS-C. Otherwise I get really sick from blockages. I'm on a low sugar & low starch & low salt diet. As hard as it was too make the dietary adjustments, it's paid off in weight loss and less crampy tummy (IBS & GERD) symptoms. I can't tell you what to do because each of us is different. But digestive issues seem to go hand in hand with fibro. Talk with your GI doc and do research. Suggestions from the community is usually from personal experience or of those were know. Sending you hugs love & prayers you can find ways to cope that's best for you! 🙂💕🙏🌸
