Compounded pain

Aug 07, 2016 12:49 PM

I just had surgery for my endometriosis. It was done laparoscopically so I'm a little sore. My OBGYN said she only found 1 spot and she had it biopsied but she didn't think that's what is causing my pain. I have severe rectal pain around the time of my cycle. It feels like I'm about to birth a bowling ball from my bum and feels like I'm sitting with a broomstick up my bum if I sit down hard (like getting in my husband's truck). I have rectal bleeding when I'm on my cycle and I was sure my endo had spread to my bowels and that's what was causing the pain but she says no so I don't know what's going on. Any ideas of what could be causing the rectal pain?

Anyway I had surgery on Friday which sent me into a fibro flare and that's worse than the actual surgery stomach pain. I'm so sore and achy and I can hardly move my neck roght now. My husband has to help me shower bc I can hardly move. I just want to feel better already!

Did they check for rectal prolapse? To truly know the exam should be done squatting instead of lying down (due to gravity). Or you can do a test call a defacography....humiliating experience, but worth the answers!

Does that show with a colonoscopy?

They say any lying down position prevents the prolapse from occurring, due to gravity. They found my redressal prolapse with the defacography. I'd never heard of it or has any idea. You should Google it!
