Have yet another appointment with my gyn tomorrow afternoon. I'm beginning to get concerned again, because the farthest edge of my incision has turned red again. Not beet or fire engine red, but red. It's still not completely closed and it's becoming tender again under the incision. I'm exhausted and scared as hell. I just needed to say that I'm beginning to feel like I can't win with this crap anymore. Please send some good vibes that he can get a treatment plan that works for both of us.
Sorry, just needed to get it off my chest. Oh and did I mention I'm scared as hell already?

Nov 19, 2015 6:22 PM

Oh honey, I'm sorry. I'm sending healing thoughts to you. I hope they can get it fixed up for you soon.

Nov 19, 2015 6:50 PM

Cea, I hope they can too without poking at me anymore. This appointment was also to discuss other options to regulate my cycle but that might not happen this time. Just emotionally tired of it.

Nov 19, 2015 7:36 PM

Amanda, I can understand as I've been in your shoe's before with a surgery done in 2011. It took a year for it to heal and to stop bleeding. Sometimes if I really overdue it I start to spot on that inscion site. Praying for you hunny! Remember "Just Be Held" πŸ˜˜πŸ’•πŸ™πŸ’–

Nov 19, 2015 7:39 PM

Hang in there, and I'm sending you gentle hugs.

Nov 19, 2015 7:43 PM

Mopar, you really are going to make me cry tonight. I was just listening to that one.

Nov 19, 2015 9:28 PM

Not sure what you had done, but sending healing prayers your way. I was having major problems with my cycle . Had a friend tell me about novasure ablation. I had it done back in August. Haven't had a period since or cramps. Good luck to you.

Nov 19, 2015 10:20 PM

Hang in there Amanda... Just be held! We are all praying! πŸ™πŸŒΌ

Nov 19, 2015 10:41 PM

Rockys, I had a diagnostic lap done on 10/27. I was going to consider asking about that tomorrow for my appointment. He kept really pushing the iud last week, but not so sure that is a good idea.

Nov 19, 2015 10:57 PM

Amanda I sorry that you are having to go through all of this yet again. Hang in there will keep you in my prayers. Sending you love and hugs.

Nov 19, 2015 11:03 PM

Amanda I'm really sorry, gyn issues just suck. I'm praying for you and that unruly incision

Nov 19, 2015 11:28 PM

Iann, yes they do. I'm concerned enough about it so that sleeping tonight is next to impossible. That and my ankle decided to flare it's ugly head up again and nothing is working. Just trying to lay it down and let it go.

Nov 19, 2015 11:39 PM

@weezie, thank you. You guys are really the only ones who actually "get" it. I get so tired of being asked, "Are you better yet?" when the answer is realistically always going to be No. I have so many, many issues and chronic pain, that I'm not even sure I know what better or "good" feel like anymore. People tell me be positive, it will get better. My mental response is, "If you only knew the half of it already." For me, this is as positive as I get most weeks and this has been a good week. I don't even know what to do with myself if I have no doctors appointments during a week.

Nov 20, 2015 6:36 AM

Amanda, if I had no Drs appointments during the week I'd throw a party lol! Though it be a lame one, but a party lol!

Nov 20, 2015 12:28 PM

Mopar, it worked! BP was so stinking low, it even surprised me. And I have been released from post-op care finally!

Nov 20, 2015 5:18 PM

Woohoo!! Way to go Amanda!! Time to party!! πŸ˜˜πŸ’• πŸŽ‚πŸ•πŸ—πŸžπŸπŸ“πŸ‰πŸŽπŸŒπŸ‡πŸ“

Nov 20, 2015 5:21 PM

Hit button to soon lol! I brought the buffet! And the I'll bring the music too πŸŽΆπŸŽ΅πŸ“€πŸŽ€ I am so happy to that it went so well! God is Good!

Nov 20, 2015 5:45 PM

Mopar, bring me some wine please(jk). I think I'm finally beginning to get comfortable with him. Fingers crossed. And what made it even better was he did not approach me in scrubs for the first time. That was awesome.

Nov 20, 2015 10:30 PM

That's always a good feeling when you are comfortable with your doctor, it show's that he/ has earned your trust! Best feeling in the world! 🍷🍷 there ya go! A glass for each of us!

Nov 21, 2015 1:41 AM

Amanda, I am really glad for you that you are so comfortable with your doctor. That is really important and the fact that he has earned your trust is a big deal! (Doesn't hurt that he's so handsome either!!) I think I'm going to join your party with Moparmom and have a cocktail! Get the music started. {{{Hugs}}} and... Cheers!!! 🍷🍷🍾🍹🍺

Nov 21, 2015 7:57 AM

Alwayz, No that doesn't hurt, does it? For me, earning my trust takes a looooooooong time. But after 3 visits in November, he finally earned it. @mopar, he's just like a big teddy bear. I mean, big teddy bear. And handsome doesn't even begin to describe it. I so wish we could post pictures here, and you would understand what I meant.

Nov 21, 2015 8:57 AM

She's not kidding... I've seen his picture. He's definitely VERY easy on the eyes!!πŸ€—πŸ˜³πŸ˜‰

Nov 21, 2015 9:57 AM

I love a man easy on the πŸ‘€πŸ‘€ lol!

Nov 23, 2015 12:40 PM

Y'all are making me laugh! Sorry I missed this discussion and the virtual party! So glad to hear some positive results Amanda! πŸ™πŸŒΌ

Nov 23, 2015 12:50 PM

Oh heap Flappys. You did. I wish I had a way to email you so you could see him. Bad me! And I was walking as fast as my little legs would carry me before he changed his mind about everything. Flappys, you would absolutely never believe that I am no longer scared of going to the gyn. That has taken a lot of work and a lot of prayer but fear has just abated.

Nov 25, 2015 9:13 PM

That's awesome Amanda! I'll have to set up an email and use it just for this community. All I have right now is personal for doctors and businesses. I'll post when I do. Happy thanksgiving! πŸ™πŸŒΌ

Nov 25, 2015 9:31 PM

Flappys, can I please scream now? Stupid freaking MRSA! Starting with a flare up tonight. Hoping it will stay good over the weekend, cause I don't want to go to urgent care. It's on my ass(I know tmi). And I don't trust anybody but my surgeon in that area. No indeed. But right now, it's still small so that's a really good thing. Going to turn in for the night with my sweatpants and my grippy socks that I seem to collect like a sponge!

Nov 26, 2015 8:43 AM

I have 45 pairs of those grippy socks from 29 surgeries and other ER and hospital stays. Ughhh, nobody should have that many unless they choose to buy them in the store...LOL!! πŸ’•πŸ™πŸ»πŸŒ»

Nov 26, 2015 9:15 AM

Alwayz, you must admit they are comfortable and I have a special bin just for them in my dresser.

Nov 26, 2015 10:42 AM

They are!! I never wear shoes unless I'm going out somewhere and as soon as I get home off they come!! LOL!! Barefoot all winter
