I have constant pain in my neck, back, legs, and hips. I have constant tingling in my hands and feet. I am a bigger gal about 189. I would like to be able to do some yoga but the stretching triggers my muscle spasms in my back and legs, and neck. I do walk about 2 miles a day. That includes stairs. Can't wait for summer to get back in my pool. Anyone else find it hard to exercise.
Yes definitely! I'm 5'2" & 184 lb. I have Fibromyalgia, Sjogrens (now affecting my joints), OA, DDD, & POTS and vertigo (both cause dizziness from movements). All of these make it hard for me to be active, yet my doctor's want me to.
On good days I try hard to do my best, buying a Fitbit to track my steps, using a stationary bike that has the chair-type seat, using stretch bands & hand weights (2-5 lb). I do gentle stretches in the morning and before going to bed when I can, and it sometimes helps with both muscle tightness and spasms. I even purchased a chair-gym that uses pulleys to exercise. It's usually for old people (Lol) who can't stand, but with my POTS and vertigo it's very good for me too.
Right now I have a tear in my left hip area that's really affecting me right now. We went to Belk's yesterday, straight to a specific department and back home. By the time I got inside my hip and back were killing me. It seems I'm constantly hurting something new! But yes I totally get what you're saying! Have you thought about a heated pool or jacuzzi? I can no longer get in and out of either, not tolerate any cold water.
Oh yes. I'm pretty regular in size, but I have like no muscles so I am super weak. I suspect that I have Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/ME since I pretty much fit in everything in the criteria. I get fatigued, exhausted, more pain after I move my body but also a lot of pain if I remain still. Doctors tells me to excercise. I've tried SO many times, but it hurts so much and only gets worse :'(
I hope it gets better for you <3 I don't know if you meant 189lb or like.. your length? But either way, I hope your walks doesn't take too much of a toll on you <3 I miss fresh air :'(
Wish I could cause I know for me even doing yoga and mediation helps but last to times tried light yoga pulled muscles in back and in bed for days! (I have constant spams in back neck due to herniated disk, fibromyalgia... )
