Coping with a bug

Feb 09, 2018 9:47 PM

One thing I hate about have chronic pain is my reduced tolerance to dealing with other crap when it happens. I've had the flu and a sinus infection over the last 2 weeks and while once I used to shrug this crap off its really hit me hard physically (all my joints, sinuses, chest all the fun stuff) and emotionally.

What steps do people take to deal? How do you cope?
All I have is soup so far (although tnh that's pretty good.)

Whenever I get so sick that my joints start hurting I take Tylenol and use a heating pad or warm baths. In general when I'm sick I sleep a lot. If the flu is affecting your lungs, you want to see a doctor as it could be pneumonia which you'll need medication for.
