Cortisone injections and L4 nerve block

Feb 17, 2017 11:14 AM

Hey all sorry been away so long. Not been feeling great. Had the injections yesterday now I have no pain in my spine or leg but lots of pressure and numb tingling and I can now feel all the other pains within my body. Went to a private hospital paid for by the nhs so I didnt have to wait for months for it. Gosh the procedure hurt even with a local anesthetic but braved it and made it through feeling bit weird hoping it passes. Hope everyone is good xx

Just rest yourself and ice the injection area of needed. Hopefully the weird symptoms will go away soon. Hugs love & prayers this gives you lots of relief. 🙂💕🙏🌸

I've had two of those now, the first ever on Halloween and the second late last month. I was terrified at first not knowing what to expect. I had a lot of fatigue for two days after the first one but not so much the second; I even drove myself home. I found I felt better when I moved around doing light house and office stuff. Lying around felt worse for me. Hope you feel better very soon!

I was told not to drive or do I anything strenuous for 24 hours when I had injections.

Ive been told not to do any driving or lifting and to rest for at least 3-4 days after but could feel effects up to a week later. Dont think Id like to do that again just feel numb and pressure its not nice x
