Michele, could you define CRPS & RSD? It looks like we have topics and questions as separate topics. It will take time to get the hang go this. I know when I see everyone's pain image, mine looks like a piece of cake. My problem is that I cannot take any meds for my neuropathy. I wear the largest shoe I am able to keep on and try to avoid what I call 'mall walking,' where you walk, then stand, walk, stand. My pain wears me down. I am able to walk continuously, and try to get a walk in as often as I can. When my pain is too bad, I put my feet in ice water. I try to massage them with lotion nightly as they want to cramp. I have used a TENS unit in the past as well as Anodyne infrared treatment. I also have neck, knee and hip problems. My neck responds well to John Barnes, myofacial release. I do the unwinding regularly. The knee and hip are old age (70 yrs) wear and tear after living a very active life with sports. I am a cancer survivor (13 years and counting) hence the peripheral neuropathy.
I suffer from RSD/CRPS and this is the reason for joining this group. I have had an increase in symptoms which has affected my entire life and every aspect. Looking for how others deal daily with this diagnosis ?
