I tried cymbalta about a year ago when I was first diagnosed with fibromyalgia, and was told that it was one of the best meds for fibromyalgia and depression. If it works for you, then it is said to be very good. Unfortunately for some, it has many side effects. Like all medications you need to weight up the pros and cons. My sister was on cymbalta for years with only mild side effects. I, however had an adverse reaction to it. Not everyone will react the same. You only know after trying it, unfortunately. I'd advise you to get as much information as you can, and ask your doctor questions you have on your mind. It may end up working for you and your worries unnecessary. I hope I haven't made the decision more difficult for you. Just remember all medications have side effects. I hope you have some pain relief soon, and I'll be praying for you.
It is my pleasure. Giving something back so that someone else can benefit is the very least I could do, considering how everyone in this community (using this app) is so loving, caring supportive of each other. I benefit from other people's posts, so I think if I have something which may help someone else, then it's my duty to offer it. So if you need any further support, you are most welcome to contact me if you wish or if you chose, anyone else. I'm just pleased you got something out of my (little) knowledge/experience.
