CatchMyPain Community and Pain Diary App to manage chronic illness

Nov 23, 2018 8:18 PM

I am new on the app and to the community. I appreciate the community space here and I have done a lot of reading from your stories/questions and answers.

For the past 8 years I have dealt with pain that feels like being stabbed with “a million flaming thumb tacks.” Comes on suddenly disapates into tingling (like a hand falls asleep). Rolls in waves. No triggers identified. Working with my doc, and he seems to think it’s Fibromyalgia or something a lot like it. I am new to all of this because this is the first time a doc is making progress toward a solution.

How did you find answers/a diagnosis?

Welcome to the community ViciJR. I went to a rheumatologist to diagnose my fibro. My primary care doc and pain management docs DX my osteoarthritis.

Yes I've seen neurologists. Mostly for vertigo. Also for neuropathy, headaches and tremors.
