Hi everyone, I just joined yesterday, and thus far you all seem really nice.
I have a few health issues, psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, ruptured discs in my neck, f fibromyalgia. The worst problem now is this right upper abdominal pain that has been for 7 years, but about June 1, it got much worse I am having problems with pain and nausea. It's much like gallbladder, but I had mine out 3 years before this all began. Today I cleaned my house as I have out of town guests tomorrow. BAD, BAD idea! It's made it worse, and I need t to entertain tomorrow. I can't sleep as I am in so much pain. :-[ I really hate this. It is ruining my life.....
Chocolat, I was wondering if you have been checked for a hernia in that area? Also, after my gallbladder was removed I began to experience the same kind of pain you describe and went back to the doctor. I was told by several that it's possible to get stones in the duct where the gallbladder used to be and they sent me for a ct scan of my abdomen. There was irritation in the area but nothing more and the problem did go away. I hope you can find some resolution to this, I don't want you to be suffering like that and not have someone help you. Check into finding out if you developed a hernia in the surgical area (or it could be a buildup of scar tissue causing adhesions). I wish you the best of luck with finding a doctor to be thorough and help you get through this. By the way, if I didn't say before, I want to welcome you to our community family. I'm glad you found us and I know you will find the support you need here. 🌻🙏🏻
Chocolat, another possibility is a duodenal ulcer. My gallbladder was removed also. I began hurting in the same area and after an EGD (scope) they found an ulcer. Hoping and praying you get treatment soon. 🙏🌼
