For years I would tell my niece she was taking the diet thing to extremes. Well, let me tell you someone should have slapped me. I bought the Wahls protocol book and skimmed through it. Several on my support FB page swore by it. So after giving it a try, not fully mind you, but an honest try, I was having less pain. Last week the cravings started. I cheated. I had one donut, one slice pizza with crust, and a helping of noodles. Within 30 mins of the donut, pain and cramps. An hour after the slice, cramps and more pain that had not eased from the donut a few days before. Last night was noodles. Before I could finish, my gut was off the charts, my nerve pain was extreme. Another thing I noticed was that in my surgery site I was getting the puffiness around the spine and cysts area. I will be tossing all those no-nos out. I honestly believe the food manufacturers are out to kill us.
