Difficult day

Nov 28, 2015 11:35 AM

I work a 10 hour shift at my DSP group home job. It's very physically exhausting and I have thought about quitting, but with medical bills up the wazoo I cannot afford it. My muscles are aleafy achey and sore from constantly moving around, lifting individuals, ect. I can barely keep my eyes open and I'm only half way through my shift. Only thing getting me through is my uplifting coworker and the client's smiles. Also, only 2 more days until my rheumatologist appointment!

tmiller, I am so sorry that you are hurting so very badly. It has to be so very hard that you're working and having to push through the days. Thank God for your uplifting coworker. It is always a blessing when you have someone close by that lifts up your spirits and helps you get through the day. Know that you have an entire family of pain warriors here to uplift you and hold your hand when you need it. You're never alone, we understand because we live with it, just like you, on a daily basis. The financial burden of not being able to work is more than scary and more than difficult. I hope that you can get through the rest of this day without too much additional pain. Sending you gentle {{{Hugs}}} and prayers that you have a restful evening, a gentle slumber and wake to a better Sunday.πŸŒ»πŸ™πŸ»
