Dislocations and sublaxing

Feb 20, 2015 9:51 AM

Hi everyone I'm new to this. I'm 19 diagnosed with fibromyalgia in December and hms eds type 3 about a year ago. just wondered does anyone else suffer from dislocations and sublaxing. My shoulder seems to pop out in my sleep and puts itself back in place but waking up in the morning in pain. Any ideas to help prevent this or calm it down. My hips and knees sublax a lot.
Thanks everyone x

Yes, Npatterson, it has happened to me. Unfortunately, my joints are so unstable, they dislocate quite easily. I've had many times where my shoulder pops out, gets hung up and then goes back (sometimes with my effort). I'm sorry that happens to you. It's like pain isn't enough, you have to have that on top of it... It's like getting a mole and to add insult to injury, a wiry hair grows out of it!! LOL!! 😜

I have my shoulders pop out all the time which makes archery difficult lol. Usually when it hurts and I feel it's put I have my boyfriend pop it back in.
